Started in 2009 with a grant from Polk County, the Highland, Oak and Union Park neighborhood organizations worked together to create this fun, family-oriented neighborhood festival. Our Summer Concert Series is free and open to the public. Funds raised have been directed to the renovation project planned at Riverview Park.
We feature live music from some of central Iowa's best bands, lots of food and beverage options including beer, soft drinks, walking-tacos, hot-dogs, snacks and much more.
Rendezvous on Riverview is held every Friday night in June and July from 5:30 to 9:30pm, so please join us and bring your friends or make some new ones at Rendezvous on Riverview! Come and have a great time, but please, no coolers.
Tickets must be purchased for food and drinks. They are $1 each or 12 for $10.
To purchase or drink alcoholic drinks you must have a wrist band. This can be obtained by showing one of the security officials your picture ID.
Alcoholic beverages can be obtained with tickets and wearing a wrist band.
If thunderstorm/rain/heat weather impacts our event, we will cancel for the safety of all. Please view the facebook page for operating status.
Lawn chairs and blankets.
Coolers are not allowed.
